- The BioG-M fermenta-tion system is a lab scale fermentor which is designed for multi-pur-pose fermentation. Vari-ous fermentation sche-mes such as fed-batch and even the animal cell culture can be done with the BioG-M series. The monolithic LCD monitor is installed in the half tower size controller body and it can display all the mea-sured values and control parameters. 4-peristaltic pumps are installed in the controller body that acid, base, antifoam agent and media can be supplied to the fermentor. The vari-ous parameters for fer-mentation such as pH, DO, temperature and the rotating speed for the fer-mentor can be monitored and controlled by the controller and all the data and control parameters can be transmitted to the multiple fermentor contro-ller system or computer system. The various com-ponents can be assem-bled in a fermentation system. The various size of single vessel with hot plate or double vessel with water bath can be selected. The agitation motor is installed on the top plate and the top driving mechanism can make the simple confi-guration and high relia-bility.

- The rotating speed of the agitator can be modified and controlled from 50 to 1,200 rpm.
- The digital PID control algorithm makes fast approach to the target temperature and stable temperature maintaining capability.
- The pH value is compensated precisely with the temperature and the value of dead-band for the peristaltic pump control can be adjusted.
- The DO value is compensated with temperature, salinity and altitude to measure the exact value and the value of dead-band for the peristaltic pump control can be adjusted also.
- The ring shape sparger is made of stainless steel and multiple hole helps uniform foam distribution.
- The controller can be connected to the multiple monitoring and control system.
- The measured data and control parameters can be saved and transmitted to the computer in Excel format.
- The Li-ion battery is used to backup the data in the memory.
- The four channel gas mixer can be attached to the BioG-M system.
- The thermal printer can be attached to the controller to printout the realtime data.
- It is very easy to connect with the various systems such as memory stick, printer, computer, BioG-¥á and etc.
